Long time no post!

Will update the blog at the weekend with some new photos of the pups who are now 10 month old. They are growing in to fine specimens and all but one will be over 30 Kg and I think Dexter will weigh in around the 37 kg but he is a big lad and has plenty of condition on him. 

On the racing front Sam (Feral Coaster) ran in a heat of the Galaxy but with his box draw he found trouble on the bend and finished 7th. He ran in a C4 on cup night but again found trouble and finished 7th again. Hopefully he will get a run soon and prove he still has a bit to offer.

Sam (Feral Coaster) still on a role!

Sam (Feral Coaster) won his C3 last week and so went up a grade to C4. The bubble burst but it was pleasing to see him finish 2nd and running a good race. His form card now reads 11212 so its good to see he is enjoying himself. 
The pups are full of life and getting quite big and they are carrying a fair amount of condition!!

Sam (Feral Coaster) has now managed to put 2 wins together in a row! He moved up to C2 on Tuesday and showed a bit of pace to win the race in 17.39 which is the quickest time he has done at Addington. He paid $26.10 on the TAB but like most confident trainers I decided not to take money off of them!

The Pups are coming along nicely and already most of them have reached 25-30 kg! Think they are going to be be dogs although Daisy will not be huge!

The paddocks have been a bit muddy since the rain yesterday.  Daisy (pink) and Dan (Blue) have enjoyed rolling around in it! At 7 months old the pups are thriving. They all have lovely natures with their own personalities shining through. We are very happy with their progress.

Feral Coaster

Sam, aka Feral Coaster, did us proud today coming out late from the boxes, well behind the pack,  to end up third. Not quite the result we wanted but we were pleased with how well he ran to get his third placing.

News

Lots of snippets of news from the Kennels. Have calculated the first litter from Lizzie (Collision Risk) have earned $86.682.50 in prize money. Obviously Tom (Yeboah) has earned $40.882.50 of this but the others have done us proud. Ted (Melman) won on Sunday and now has gone in to C5 class. Thats 2 in the litter that now have reached open class!
On Tuesday I took Sam (Feral Coaster) to Addington and was pleased to see him come home first at odds of $11? Shame I bottled it because I did fancy him to be in the mix. Was even better because Jacqui and the Nixon the grandson were there to cheer him on.
The pups are now 6 months old and I am pleased with them. They love their food and all of them have plenty of weight with Dexter weighing in at around 20-5 Kg and growing fast. I have sold 2 of the dogs but have 2 dogs and 2 bitches ourselves.
We have re homed Mo (Feral Helen) to a lovely couple who adore her already, she is really spoilt and happy as. Now looking to re home Minnie (Feral Hoki) who told me that she did not like being at the races in her last 2 starts!
