Kennel news

George ( Feral Fox ) is proving to be frustrating to say the least. Look here to see his form lines, hoping to see the penny drop soon. Skippy has come out of her season well and enjoying retirement with her sister Maggie.

Fatso not so Fat now!

A work out at the beach and then a cool down of the pads in the sea.....Amigo is looking sharp and showing a bit of pace as well.

Pups Break ins.News 27th March 2011

Ridgy is now back at my kennels because her times do not really justify keeping her in training, although she does look the part she is several lengths behind some of the others in the litter. Can not fault her keen attitude towards the game though.
George is going well and his first time out the closed boxes left him a bit flat footed to say the least. The experience will do him good and improvement is likely.

Ridgy settled in well and ate up and decided Baxter the Labrador was still a friend and good for a laugh!

George and Ridgy at Chertsey Track 27th March

Sorry about the back straight guessing quality but the inside area was long grass! First time out of closed boxes.

Maggie, Ridgy and George beach fun

After this Maggie took off and the pups followed across the fields at the back of the dunes. Pups came running back when called but Maggie the awkward one took off into the flax and was corned by me but three fields away! Lesson learnt!

First Beach Gallop with Lure

Ridgy running her first beach gallop. Pity the photographer isn't as fast!

George, the fatty, having his first 50 metre beach gallop to the dummy lure.

The pups are given the chance to see if they would chase the hand held lure just to see their interest. Having had a play with it and a bit of fun the lure will not be seen again for at least 2 to 3 months. Both pups seemed to chase and latch on to the dummy which is encouraging.

Mid July Dogs

The pups had a great time off the lead in the forest. They didn't try and run off but stayed close. We called in to see Skippy at Lowcliffe. She was very happy to see us.

7 July 2010

The pups on a sight seeing hunting mission through the forest. Maggie wasn't happy being kept on the lead with the pups. She wanted off with the Labradors to chase the rabbits sniff out the wild pigs.

Pups first trip to the beach May 15, 2010

Pups are growing quickly. George is 25kg and Ridgy is 22.5 kg. They enjoyed their day at the beach. Nice day considering the forecast was for rain. You could even see Mt Cook in the background peeping through the clouds.
