Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. Pups get their First course of a hare!
Great to see 3 of the pups get the chance to course a Hare. Took them out for a free gallop up the 300 metre gallop and there was a Hare in the long grass on the other side of the fence. Hare ran backwards and forwards along the fence line giving the pups a good hunt. Hare luckily found a gap and ran for cover whilst the pups had their tongues down to the ground! All 3 were super keen which is good to see!
