Ridgy is now back at my kennels because her times do not really justify keeping her in training, although she does look the part she is several lengths behind some of the others in the litter. Can not fault her keen attitude towards the game though.
George is going well and his first time out the closed boxes left him a bit flat footed to say the least. The experience will do him good and improvement is likely.
Ridgy settled in well and ate up and decided Baxter the Labrador was still a friend and good for a laugh!
Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. March News
The two pups are learning their trade and George seems to be showing some promise. Ridgy is very keen but lacks a bit of pace so will be coming back to the kennels to mature. Skippy is now a few weeks out of season and seems to be coming right and enjoying the Coast and her sister Maggie. A hedgehog took a bit of a ear bashing but for some reason the dogs were not keen on attacking it but were certainly trying to deafen it!!!!
Skippy,s sister Utar Jet is running well on the north and is knocking on the door for another win.
