Been in the UK for the past two weeks and Jacqui has been in charge of the pups and the kennels. Can tell you they will have been spoilt for those two weeks!!
Will try to upload new photos at the weekend and a video of the pups.
Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. Kennel news
The pups are just coping with this weather, most seem to have cabin fever and when they do come out into the paddock they look at it in disgust. It is just a mud patch really now! was going to move them in to the bigger paddocks but will leave until next weekend now because of the wet and snow. Hopefully the cold weather expected will dry things out. They have plenty of fresh straw to bed down in so they all seem fine. They are eating heaps as you would expect pups to do and all seem to be growing well.
Came home the other day to find all 10 pups in with Mum,they has pushed the gate open to her run,was she was pleased to see me and she had more mud on her coat and head than she expected!! Poor Lizzie!

Pup News
Sunday:
All the pups have been earmarked and chipped now. They certainly are very feisty characters with 3 pups trying to bite the hand that feeds them whilst being earmarked. The noise they made made all the older dogs bark in defence of them!
Yesterday 4 pups got out of the pen under the wire and enjoyed a run around the front but luckily all were caught and the fence fixed!
If any body is keen in investing in a syndicate for one of the pups or more just let me know!

Kennel news
The two Wizelee X Red Fox Grace pups Charlie and Eva have now left out kennels, really weird not having the big dog looking at you through the fencing! Bruce Dann is breaking them in so hopefully we might get some good reports back in the near future!
