Retirement Home for Darth

Darth (Feral Kaiaka) has retired from racing and as you can see with the photo's he is now happily retired with his female friend Scout. Great to see him in his happy place after enjoying himself on the track.

Pups at a year old. First trip to Addington Raceway Christchurch.

Billy white collar and Bella black collar.

Always a little apprehensive when you take pups to Addington (Christchurch) for the first time. Big wide open space of a track! Both Bella and Billy had hand slips from just past the sprint boxes. Great to see them go well and chase hard and do pleasing sectionals with Bella going slightly quicker than Billy. Happy with their progress so far.

Pups update.

The pups have been to the OTB trial track in Christchurch on 3 occasions over the past few weeks. They started with a 100m hand slip and this week completed a 250 metre hand slip. They are both chasing well and I will now let them have a break because of their age.

A close 2nd for Darth (Feral Kaiaka)

Darth ran out of box 8 ob Thursday in a C3 class race. He ran an honest race to finish a close second. Qualified for the final on Thursday.

The Pups are 10 months old now.

Bella has had a broken toe but it seems to be mending well. She is starting to run a little more so must be feeling better. Both pups are very keen and I will be taking them to the Bullring in the next few weeks.

Darth's (Feral Kaiaka) latest run a 3rd in a C3 event. Beaten by a quicker dog but a good run from Darth seeing he was the outsider of eight with the TAB !
