No need to say too much just read the stewards report....reckon the steward had bet him!!
YEBOAH box 3 dwelt at the start being almost last away, he improved rapidly racing in to the first bend YEBOAH was checked as LOOKS ALL GOOD crossed to the rail in being the leading dog ,YEBOAH lost momentum for astride or two ,soon after he was hampered again as CALAMITY FREE ran out over the heels of LOOKA ALL GOOD in to the path of TONGARIRO who was force to check going in on to the heels of YEBOAH both runners lost a length or two. YEBOAH ran on for 4th placing at the line.
Hopefully he can turn the tables next time out but well done to the winner Bright Star who was winning her 67th race..great record.
Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. Big Decision.
Have decided to move Mo ( Feral Helen) and Sam ( Feral Coaster) up to the North Island with James Black and Alysha Steele. I am sure they can get the best out of the two especially Sam who seems to going the right way regarding his Stopper Tendon Injury. Mo was checked out on Sunday and had a Back and Hip injury so hopefully we will see a different dog when she hits the track.
Good Luck James and Alysha.
Minnie ( Feral Hoki) is staying here at the Kennels and she has been working well in the last two weeks. She seems to be over her niggles so lets hope she gets selected in the next Maiden at Addington.
