Feral Duchess (Skippy) ran 5th at Addington on Friday. She totally missed the kick going up with the lids and trying to rail at the first got checked slightly. She ran on well to gain some ground up to finish fifth. Not disappointed apart from the draw again of trap 6. She needs the rail badly to be effective so hopefully soon!

Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. Feral Duchess Returns
Skippy runs in race 4 1.02 pm tomorrow at Dunedin but out of trap 8 it will need a bit of luck and early pace to make the first bend in a good position. Lets hope she gets a good run and comes off safe and sound.
