Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. Back!
Back in NZ after visiting Cambodia. Feel a bit guilty spending money on a Kennel bill after seeing that a good wage for Cambodians is $50 a month!
Any way a few updates.. The Pups have been to Callum Weir in Canterbury for 2 weeks , they were shown the drag lure for the first time and the Blue Dog George loved it! Ridgy took to it after a couple of goes so lets hope the experience will do them good. Ridgy came back in season so they have been split for the first time without many problems.
Skippy (Feral Duchess) has had three races and has been placed twice but still looking for the elusive win. Lets keep hoping.
