Greyhound kennels established on the West Coast of NZ. The kennel name comes from the delightful description Helen Clark used when talking about West Coasters in 2000. The open spaces and the beaches were a top place to rear pups up until racing age. Now Based close to Oxford Canterbury on 4 hectares. We now breed and train as well as rear pups. Skippy came back on to the racing strength on Tuesday at Addington. Drawn in Trap 6 again she was trying the 4 bend distance for the first time. Quickly in to stride she got a nice run to the bend but was checked off the second bend by the three dog. This put her back to Fourth and she maintained a strong gallop to finish a 6 length 4th.Pleasinf performance for her first run over the trip.

Straight in to the van down to Southland, to be honest she would have been better to stay in the van has she ran a very disappointing last.
